Body Fragment

Body Fragment interprets the dynamic potential of visual experience with a specific interest in social patterns and the psychogeography of space. My work attempts to encapsulate the potential of the human form through material disruption my work crosses gender boundaries to decipher the complex ways in which we view ourselves within society. I deconstructed the body, reducing it to its fundamental abstract form and then reconstructed it to demonstrate the body’s potential; utilising it not only as a site for theoretical and visual discourse but as a means to investigate the space in which the body occupies.
